Sword Apak has appointed Trevor Barr, who has worked in the Australian financial industry for over 30 years, as business consultant – Asia Pacific Region, based in Melbourne, Australia.
Sword Apak president and CEO, Tony Allen said: “We are pleased to have Trevor join us at Sword Apak to grow our market leading brand and our flagship Wholesale Floorplanning Finance product (WFS) in Australia, New Zealand and the whole Asia Pacific region.”
The majority of Barr’s career has been spent working for a large Australian bank and an Australian consultancy in various senior project director delivery and implementation roles including, in recent years, a large asset finance system implementation project and more recently as project director of the complex divestment of Esanda Finance to Macquarie Bank.
“Trevor joins us at Sword Apak within our sales, marketing and client services team,” added James Powell, executive vice president, Sword Apak, “His wealth of implementation and delivery experience will enable us to offer close relationship management for our existing clients in the region.
“He will also drive business development across the region on the back of our highly successful expansion into the Americas.”
