The hunt is on to identify contenders for the next Asset Finance Connect Fintech Innovator Award. Finalists will pitch to delegates and three judges at the Asset Finance Connect Spring Conference on 13th June before a winner is identified for the Award, which is sponsored by Lendscape.
Steve Taplin, lead judge and Managing Director of Lendscape, comments: “To help us identify a great shortlist, we’re asking the CTOs of Europe’s leading auto and equipment finance companies to tell us about the solutions and providers they’re most excited about as they assess the new tech coming to the market.”
All suggestions are welcome, including:
- Tech that enables embedded finance
- Tech that enables the industry to deliver on ESG
- AI solutions that drive Consumer Duty compliance
- Tech that leverages generative AI solutions such as ChatGPT

About the Award: The Asset Finance Connect Fintech Innovator Award, sponsored by Lendscape, is a competition designed to identify technology solutions which offer the greatest potential to transform the auto and/or equipment finance industry. Finalists are identified prior to the Asset Finance Connect conference, and during the conference each finalist will pitch for seven minutes before being questioned by the innovator judges: Steve Taplin, Managing Director, Lendscape; Ylva Oertengren, Chief Operating Officer, Simply Asset Finance; and Catriona Powell, Strategic Change Manager, Novuna Business Finance. The winner is the finalist who receives the most weighted votes (50% judges, 50% audience).
