Free to attend workshop – limited places available
After the Consumer Duty comes into force on 31 July, the FCA have said they will act swiftly and assertively where it finds evidence of harm or risk of harm to consumers. This workshop will help build an understanding of what to expect immediately following the implementation date.
This legal and regulatory workshop will take place in the morning at the Asset Finance Connect workshop on June 13th at the Asset Finance Connect conference at etc venues, 155 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3YD.
The workshop, which starts at 09.30am, will be based around a case study and will focus on current market themes relating to the consumer duty implementation landscape post-implementation and considers likely emerging trends. The case study will guide participants through a series of scenarios, analysis and discussion. The workshop will be lead by Wayne Gibbard and Stephen Dawson from Shoosmiths, with feedback from other specialists in the Shoosmiths team.
The session will be of interest to legal and regulatory specialists in all auto and equipment finance organisations and non-specialists who want to develop a deeper understanding of Consumer Duty. It will build on themes developed in the first workshop which took place at the last conference last December.
Priority will be given to Asset Finance Connect corporate members.
