BNP Paribas has announced that Isabelle Loc, previously Director and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, will take over the management of Commercial & Personal Banking in France as of March 18th.

Loc succeeds Marguerite Bérard as Head of Commercial & Personal Banking and joins the BNP Paribas Executive Committee.

She will report to Thierry Laborde, Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas and Head of Commercial, Personal Banking & Services (CPBS).

Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, Director and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas commented: "We are delighted to entrust Isabelle Loc with the responsibility of Commercial & Personal Banking in France. Her diverse experience within the Group will enable her, with the support of all the teams, to steer the transformation of our Commercial Banking in France."

Isabelle Loc will be succeeded by Neil Pein, previously Head of Payments for Group BNP Paribas, as Director and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions.

In an earlier statement, Isabelle Loc commented: “I wish Neil Pein, as well as all the teams at Leasing Solutions, every success in pursuing our ambitions for growth, technological transformation and sustainable development.”

Isabelle Loc had been Director and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions since May 2021. She previously held the position of Head of Real Assets in the EMEA region for BNP Paribas CIB (Capital Markets), specialising in consulting and financing for the energy, infrastructure, transport, and real estate sectors. From 2016 to 2018, Isabelle Loc was Senior Banker, in charge of strategic clients at BNP Paribas.

She joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2010, within CIB’s Global Equity & Commodity Derivatives teams, before being appointed Secretary to the Group’s Executive Committee in 2013.

Isabelle Loc began her career with McKinsey & Company. She is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Columbia University.
