Neil Pein had been Head of Payments for Group BNP Paribas since 2021, after participating in the industrial transformation of the business since 2018, through the creation of the Axepta BNP Paribas Business Line, serving retailers, or the constitution of the "New Digital Business" business line, which brings together payment-related Fintechs within the Group (Nickel, Floa, Lyf).

After starting his career in the financial markets at Goldman Sachs, Neil Pein joined BNP Paribas in 2007 as an Equity derivatives trader. From 2013 to 2016, he worked in the Group’s Financial Management department on acquisitions, divestments, and capital optimisation operations. Neil Pein was then Sales Director for technology equipment for the Leasing activity in France within BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions.

Neil Pein is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and holds a Master of Science from New York University.
