One of the nominations for this year’s Rising Star Award is Jazmine Frost from CGI who has been nominated for her outstanding contributions to the industry in just three years. She has demonstrated a genuine passion for her work, making a positive impact through her initiatives and showing immense potential for future success.
Jazmine has spearheaded various STEM initiatives and taken on the role of DE&I lead for CGI UK&A, playing a pivotal role in fostering diversity and inclusion within the organisation.
She has also established and led the Young Professional's Network, the second-largest member network at CGI UK&A. Through this network, she has created a nurturing and inclusive environment for young professionals, facilitating their personal and professional growth through initiatives focused on health and well-being, career development, and networking/social activities.
Beyond internal initiatives, Jazmine has actively promoted CGI and its corporate social responsibility efforts to external stakeholders, enhancing brand awareness and driving conversations around important topics.
She has also showcased her thought leadership through various mediums, further boosting the reputation of the business in the industry. In her role within the growth team, Jazmine has played a critical role in lead generation and innovation within the asset finance and mobility sector. She is actively involved in organising thought leadership sessions to elevate the business’s reputation, establish trust and credibility and enhance client engagement and drive business growth.
Jazmine has cultivated strong relationships with asset finance associations, driving conversations and opportunities for prospect engagement. Her efforts have been instrumental in driving growth and innovation within CGI UK&A and striving to create a positive working environment for all.
Jazmine's impact extends beyond CGI, as she actively contributes to advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives within the finance industry. She has joined the DE&I group of the Leasing Foundation, where she actively contributes ideas and initiatives aimed at enhancing diversity and inclusion within the finance sector.
Engagement in workshops like NextGeneration allows Jazmine to network and collaborate with fellow young professionals and industry leaders, facilitating meaningful discussions on industry trends and challenges.
Her advocacy for the industry extends to both internal and external platforms, where she educates individuals about the intricacies of asset finance, thereby raising awareness and promoting understanding beyond the sector.
Jazmine recently achieved a “New Voices” recognition from Leicester University and Leicester Spacepark, an initiative run for International Women’s Day that celebrates younger and upcoming stars of the future.
